Chan Luong-Shin is a board certified Speech-Language Pathologist and a Certified Lactation Counselor licensed in the state of Texas. She attended Wichita State University and received a Bachelor's Degree and a Master's Degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders. She has worked in a variety of settings, which include public school, skilled nursing, clinical private practice, and home health care. Chan has experience working with children who have varying degrees of challenges such as articulation disorders, phonology processing disorders, fluency disorders, intellectual disabilities, developmental and social language delays, tongue tie, orofacial myofunctional disorders, feeding delays, and expressive and receptive language disorders.

 

Since 2013, Chan has been committed to making a positive difference by helping children become better communicators, successful eaters, and repair normal function of the face and tongue. She looks for creative ways to combine the best aspects of various treatment approaches, tools, and strategies to provide the best possible treatment for each and every child. Dedicated to helping children reach their full potential, Chan continues to expand her clinical knowledge and refine treatment skills through research and continuing education.
